Meditation Helps Fibromyalgia (FM) and Chronic Fatigue (CFS)

Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue are distressing disorders, characterised by pain, fatigue, and a multitude of other possible symptoms including depression and anxiety. Meditation has been shown to benefit people with Fibromyalgia (FM) and Chronic Fatigue syndrome (CFS) through calming the mind and easing the body. The profoundly deep rest and relaxation that is cumulative when one meditates, gives the body more ability to restore balance and heal itself.

Credit Crunch - Dissolve Financial Worries with Meditation

The Credit Crunch that has generated the current world financial crisis has had an impact both the consumer and employee alike. The World Health Authority has seriously affected the mental health of many of the population and increased cases of stress, depression and mental disorders including suicides. The World Health Authority has confirmed that around 12% of the world’s population, actually 450 million people – one in every 4 is affected in some way.

Through meditation and the relaxation gained, the conscious mind can empty itself of the surface tensions and the whole area as far down as the subconscious area of the mind is calmed. The physical tension held within the body is dissipated and the whole nervous system is refreshed. That’s why we find meditation so, so relaxing.

Press Release - FISU Meditation Expands from Cyprus to Greece

A non-denominational form of personally prescribed mediation transforming the lives of hundreds of Greek Cypriots has arrived in Athens, Greece.

FISU Cyprus, a branch of FISU UK, was established almost 10 years ago and now has 11 teaching centres over the island.

The attraction of FISU Meditation is that it is not a religion and therefore does not conflict with firmly held beliefs. On the contrary, it enables people to embrace their beliefs with greater understanding and therefore, commitment.

Regular meditation will eliminate negative stress, which in turn improves physical health. The insecurities that most people suffer from are easily overcome as we gain powerful, inner strength from going within ourselves - as strength is an attribute of the deeper levels of the mind. We unfold greater confidence and self esteem, which in turn helps us in relationships, both personally and at work. We begin to function, not from nerves and hypertension, but from a reservoir of peace where we unveil that pure light of spirituality within ourselves that then reflects outwardly to everything around us.

FISU Meditation is a totally unique form of personally prescribed meditation, where techniques are given to each individual based on their unique vibration. As our fingerprint and DNA prove, though we are collectively related as the brotherhood of man, through our journey over many lifetimes we have found individuality - a unique identity. Rajesh Ananda prescribes meditation and spiritual practices for each person based on their unique identity, the purpose of which is to create integration between the body, mind and spirit, leading you from individuality to universality.

All FISU non-residential courses are entirely free and involve 10 sessions that take 3 months to complete; however, the organisation encourages donations to help it continue its work.

Rajesh Ananda comments” I am overjoyed that FISU has now arrived in the Greek Capital of Athens. As in Cyprus, I know that we are going to be well received, and will transform of the lives of many people who seek a better quality and understanding of life. It’s wonderful for us to start in one of the original seats of world philosophy and we now bring an updated version of this for man of this era”

Note to Editors:
These teachings come from one of the greatest Spiritual Masters of the 20th Century - Gururaj Ananda Yogi. Since his passing on the 17th May 1988, his teachings have been promoted and propagated by Rajesh Ananda and Jasmini Ananda, two of his prime disciples.
FISU’s headquarters are located in London, UK, but there are 62 centres around the world where our meditation courses are held. You can learn meditation in various locations and languages.
There is a deep and profound philosophy behind our work which acts as a support system to the Spiritual aspirant, and when embraced, heightens the speed of progress.
Our highly trained teachers are waiting to serve and guide you, but you have to walk the path yourself. Therefore, we give you personally prescribed meditation tools by which you can do this for yourself, as these tools or practices harmonise with you in totality and lead you to the light within yourself.

Learning meditation is a process of self-discovery, whereby our unique techniques create integration between the body, mind and spirit which in turn allows us to live a more harmonious life as we are led from fragmentation to integration.

FISU is neither a religion nor a sect, but a collection of individuals, who regardless of their background, beliefs or upbringing, through meditation and spiritual practices have unfolded the ability to find communion with their inner spirit.

We want to share this discovery and the endless benefits of meditation with you, and invite you to browse our website for more information. Our meditation courses are very informative which makes the process of learning meditation very enjoyable. Furthermore, our techniques are personally prescribed for each individual, and therefore to learn meditation with FISU is in itself a unique experience. Our meditation course is based over an initial 3 month period, during which you have meditation classes twice in the first week and then on average once every other week.
Spiritually unfold and let the Heart’s energies be the guiding force in your life, and let your mind be the vehicle to express this by achieving total self-integration.

At dele

FISU Danmark Flag
