HOW TO DEAL WITH STRESS ESPECIALLY DURING THE FINANCIAL CRISIS

Work environments have become modern battle fields where the recession is fought out, and where employees threatened by redundancy or constantly changing working conditions experience increasing amounts of stress.
Our working conditions may continue to challenge us but we can change ourselves to better deal with the circumstances. Meditation is a drug free tool to deal with the stresses of constant change and challenge successfully. FISU Meditation is opening in Hong Kong to help change the lives of thousands of people with its unique form of individually prescribed meditation.
There are few published facts about stress on Hong Kong workers, but correspondingly, the UK's government agency the Health and Safety Executive says there is a convincing link between stress and ill health. (Source: http://www.hse.gov.uk/statistics/overall/hssh0809.pdf)

700 Human Resources Professional also conclude that:
11% of absence is attributed to stress
52% say stress is increasing
60% claim stress is damaging staff retention
83% think stress is harming productivity

Pressure itself is not bad. In fact, many thrive on it, but when those pressures exceed a person's ability to cope, then that is when the problems start. It follows, therefore, that we can tackle stress either by reducing pressures or by increasing coping resources - or a combination of the two.
Tranquillity and peace experienced through practising meditation unfolds these attributes that enables us to:

  • Manage fear and pressure successfully
  • Live with other people without anger,  jealousy or envy
  • Respond to absurdities of life and work without indignation
  • Accept our challenges in life without complaint
  • Treat everyone with dignity
  • Abandon our ego and self-centredness
  • Become a better team player
  • Turn adversities into opportunities
  • Naturally emanate our personal peace to those around us

The peace and relaxation experienced within through meditation allows us to function with greater integration rather than fragmentation caused by pressure. We turn the negative pressures into positive creativity and therefore both employers and employees benefit.

MEDITATION IS AN EFFECTIVE SOLUTION TO STRESS

FISU is a completely unique system of individually prescribed meditation. As our finger print, eye iris and DNA prove that although we are related as the "brotherhood of man", we have found our own individuality.  Therefore, we need a set of individually prescribed meditation and spiritual practices that reflect that individuality and lead us from individuality to universality - the goal of all spiritual teachings. Having our own set of meditational practices based on our own vibration means that our journey on the evolutionary path is quickened and made easier.  This is the direct experience of thousands of our meditators around the world. (Testimonials follow).
Practising meditation for two periods of 20-30 minutes (usually one on rising in the morning before breakfast and again before an evening meal) we learn how to relax naturally.  Relaxation preserves our energies profoundly and this gives us so much more mental energy and endurance to cope with stressful situations.  Furthermore, it allows us to be more objective to any given predicament, and this is very useful in everyday life.
