These trendy reddish brown stone handcrafted pendants are from rock around the ancient city of Mahabalipuram. This was a 7th century port city of the Southern Indian dynasty of the Pallavas around 60 km south from the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. They are designed to be worn around the neck and have a cord, but can also be worn around the wrist.
