The Easter Togathering in Norwich was amazing. Despite the numbers, everyone said how intimate the atmosphere felt and had a definite deep tranquillity. There were some amazing Satsangs covering subjects from the Mind to the examination of certain religious truths and prophets. Karma was also a topic with the introduction of the concept of “providence”, a similar concept to eastern Karma but which originated in the Hebrew Bible. Many other philosophical subjects were embraced, the majority of which centred on spiritual unfoldment, meditation and the raising of our personal spiritual consciousness. The experience of a Togathering is always a powerful one, where we are able to rise above our own personal circumstances to be objective. This assists our personal unfoldment and brings it to new heights. The word Togathering is derived from the words “to gather” – so a Togathering is a residential meditation course to gather ourselves and prepare us for the next stage on our path of unfoldment or evolution. The next UK Togathering is at the end of October. We hope to see you there!
It was my first time at a Togathering
By Julian Jakic (not verified)It was my first time at a togathering. What an experience to be held! I have only recently started meditating and already seen changes or should I say spiritual growth within me. To be on a togathering was so heart warming, the other meditators were friendly and a joy to be with. Rajesh and Jasmini (the gurus)are so caring and loving, it gave me an understanding, that I have not felt before! If anyone has thought of medidating, but has not put it into action beacause of some misconception (as I did) don't! You will be missing out on something that will enrich your life forever! Thankyou to all and everybody at FISU. Love and Namaste xx
Well what can I say but it was fantastic!
By Peter (not verified)Well what can I say but another fantastic togathering!! If you haven’t been on one go – they are great :-) Fisu meditation techniques work & we are extremely lucky to have them. I have almost forgotten how stressed out & negative I was before I before I started meditating. The Satsangs were particularly interesting & as always Rajesh’s words seemed to enter both the mind & heart at the same time. The level of knowledge & love being imparted is hard to describe. Bring on October !
I arrived at the Togathering feeling depleted
By Diane Heaver (not verified)I arrived at the Togathering feeling completed physically and mentally exhausted and am leaving feeling that I have recharged my batteries fully and am ready and able to face the challenges of the coming months. Whilst I cannot claim any especially “profound” experiences, I have felt my meditations have reached a much deeper level and that I have been given the gift of wonderful tools with which to carry on my unfoldment. A lovely time with lovely people. Thank you! Namaste Diane
Attending a Togathering is really important for seekers
By Karunesh Sheldrake (not verified)Attending a Togathering is really important for new meditators to fully understand the teachings of FISU, also deepening their experiences with their practices, gaining new knowledge and wisdom, as well as spending time around true spiritual masters, Rajesh and Jasmini. Togatherings are also an excellent way for new and existing meditators to re-focus and re-centre themselves with their practices and expedite their growth on the spiritual path. The recent Togethering did just that for me; after enduring an intense few months studying hard in the final stages of my masters degree, as well as balancing a challenging job with my home life, some underlying pressures and negativity had crept into my mind. From bathing in the peaceful and uplifting energies that are always present within the environment of a Togathering, I have shaken-off these tensions and feel invigorated and refreshed again, ready for any future challenges that lie ahead. For any new meditators (and existing ones that have missed a few Togatherings) that are reading this, I highly recommend attending Togatherings; they really are an amazing experience and a fantastic boost to your life. You also get the opportunity to meet new meditators, share your experiences, and gain some great new friends! I have gained so much in my life since beginning to meditate; it has helped to make me feel wholesome, content and very positive in my outlook, due to removing the stresses and negativities from my mind that can make life seem so difficult. Hope to see you on the next Togathering!
Another fantastic Togathering
By Rebecca Rice (not verified)Gerald, Dominic and I felt so uplifted
By Anusha (not verified)Gerald, Dominic and I felt so uplifted by the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere of this Togathering. Collectively we felt that it had a particularly profound effect on our lives. Dominic (6 years old), is still talking about his FISU family, how he misses everyone, and how things feel 'different' now we're not on the Togathering. We feel truly blessed to be able to attend these gatherings with no two (like our meditations) being the same. We have returned home with a clearer perspective to help us on lifes path. See you all in October, if not before.
The experience of a Togathering
By Sundaram (not verified)The experience of a Togathering is a special one to behold and almost impossible to describe in words. The love, energy and knowledge experienced at a Togathering penetrates the mind and heart - providing a huge boost as we prepare ourselves for the next chapter of our lives. To leave a Togathering with greater strength and understanding makes it so much easier to step back into the daily activites that consume our lives. We leave the Togathering with a deep tranquility and peace that remains with us throughout the day, regardless of how hectic our schedules may be. It is a special feeling and one that can be experienced so easily through the regular practice of our simple but profound meditation practices. Attending a Togathering is always a special experience where hearts and minds mingle in the flow of love. There is no better place 'to gather' and express ourselves. I feel privileged to have been able to attend many Togatherings over the years. Each Togathering experience is always different - but the thing that never changes is the amazing time that everyone has. I can't wait for the next one!
